Development Plan: Rio Quente
In 2012, Rio Quente Resorts decided to renew two hotel products, Hotel Turismo and Hotel Pousada, in order to improve their positioning and performance. David Fuentes is contacted to restructure the concept and business model of these products.
The evaluation of the current products was carried out to find the areas of opportunity and the possibilities of the project. Subsequently, a market analysis was carried out and a proposal was made for the identity and differentiation of 2 vacation products which could easily be positioned in the market through a vacation club. The business plan was developed for 2 staggered products, which allowed the size of the target market to grow, creating a spectrum of different products, attractive to different segments.
Subsequently, and after the success of the first two hotel complexes, it was decided to work on the development plan for various integration products for the vacation club. Among them, the development of a third high-end hotel, as well as the creation of a long-term development plan to integrate different products, with different concepts and focused on different market segments.
Crystal is created, a hotel oriented to a high-end segment. In the same way, a 10-year development plan is delivered which includes a luxury fractional, a business hotel, a convention center, among other hotel products.
Currently, Rio Quente is the Brazilian vacation ownership project with the highest sales in the South American market.
